Catching up. It gets tiring watching Bill go back and forth tepidly defending Hillary and then bowing down to Bernie. Fish/chicken shtick etc. You'd think this shows current goal was to keep people away from the November voting booths. Root doesn't fit in well on the show because he's going to bring up a lot of topics most of the panel cannot (or will not) be willing to defend let alone want to talk about. So the panel will just respond with anger and odd faces/breakdowns. Root: "ORGY ISLAND!"  Bill Clinton probably had a lot of fun on those pedophile excursions. I hope Trump starts using that one soon at his insane rallies.Other random thoughts: -Michael Moore looks really sick and appears even more disappointed in Obama by the month. -Sheldon Adelson looks like the creature from the end of Total Recall (1990). -It says a lot that Trump won't debate Sanders. -Maher should stop citing Ken Starr as some paragon in handling the Lewsinky affair. If GWB was in office for the last sixteen years I have no doubt comedy central would be doing better. Maher may have trouble propping Sarah Palin up as some kind of major political player for another decade.

My favorite was 3-4 years ago when he was using cheap knockoff props to make fun of chinese cheap knockoff props and it completely bombed. Not even pity laughs could be heard. Then after he introduced his next guest he shoved all of the props off the table in frustration. I wish I could find it because it was so awkward. Bill not getting into the Nevada convention with Barbara Boxer sucked, but yeah. Whatever. EDIT - About Martha Coakley, she didn't lose because she was a centrist. She lost to Scott Brown because she literally ran no campaign. Same as her gubernatorial campaign. Most people that age can't comprehend how expensive some schools now are (adjusted for inflation/general economy) or they want to keep the status quo (student loan debt at 1.3 Trillion+ USD and climbing). When the student loan gravy train ends or slows down it's going to mess with a lot of schools/universities I'd think. Keep those social security checking coming in. Wilkerson had more fun than he's perhaps had in ages and the film maker absolutely pulled off an emperor has no clothes moment in OT with the useless Trump lady that was so vicious an ether that even Bill has to admonish him against the crowd in a bid to protect future delicate egos from coming on the show and acting out like the fools they are. I don't even know why Bezzos was there in terms of him saying literally almost no words the entire time---one of the quieter panelists in recent memory at the least.

The dynamic between Emily Miller and Lawrence Wilkerson was funny as she kept being surprised by his answers. It came off like: "Grandpa, you lied to me! ... Santa Claus isn't real?!" Gunchat on any show gets more absurd by the day/week/month/year. The talking points are so unhinged from reality it's pointless. Might as well have someone on the show come on and say "We should ban all cars!" and someone retort with "but I like cars!" Save everyone a lot of time.
