In my household, there is one person with an amiibo-ready handheld and one person who buys amiibos (because they are tiny statues of characters from their favorite game.) I wouldn't even know what to do with one if I bought one. I think I wave it at my game boy but I don't think I have any games that do anything with them.

Crud. My wife and I found what looked to be an amazing deal on a new apartment to rent. It's almost literally on the campus I teach at, so my commute would be cut down from 1 hour in the car to 10 minutes of walking. It's relatively cheap for what it is and we would have more space than I know what to do with. I was all ready to sign the lease today when I got an email saying that they need to re-appraise the property first. I have a feeling the rent is about to go up.
