Cat box update: They don't fit together anymore  The 10 pound cat, which is extremely motherly will content himself with the very narrow box lid while leaving the 5 pound cat with room to spare inside the box.

It's convenient. I just don't understand the apparent shock that somebody would build something like a cupholder into a couch, something people regularly sit on while drinking something.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure if it's so noteworthy but it's a sectional couch and each section reclines. And yeah, there are cupholders and central consoles that hold blankets. It's pretty great. I opted for that with a cheap faux leather coating instead of a nice couch and that decision paid off as our cats love tearing it apart.
