I might try again if you can convince me of fun Guldan just released tuesday with a big patch that includes a pretty major changes to a lot of heroes, and increases the damage that minions do to buildings by 50%, as well as improving the catapult AI so that once it targets a building it will not retarget minions until the building is dead, and also catapults have increased range. It opens up some more options for players as opposed to just lane until objective and then contest the objective, in that split pushing is a much more viable strategy, and a pushed lane is a threat that teams have to answer to much more seriously now. Also Auriel will be the next hero, and will be a support hero who gains healing power from doing damage, and also seems to have some pretty cool playmaking abilities Truly an exciting time

I'm curious. ARE the problems considered equally difficult? They can all be solved in 3 steps as proportions, although the second one is a lot easier than the rest to do on the fly.

whats the common core approach to that question if i had to notate my own thought process for the first q, youd take 2 paper clips = 9 buttons and derive 4 paper clips = 18 buttons, 5 paper clips = 18 + 9/2 buttons = 22.5 buttons which isnt the easiest piece of math (gently caress addition) i think the next two have pretty trivial arithmetic, 4 paper clips = 6 buttons, 2 paper clips = 3 buttons, 6 paper clips = 9 buttons 4 paperclips = 7 buttons, 1 paperclip = 7/4 buttons, 5 paperclips 7 + 7 /4 = 8 3/4 buttons
|
# ? Jul 14, 2016 21:05 |

18 + 9/2 is trickier artithmetic than 7 + 7/4 imo

I did pre:2/9 = 5/x 2x = 45 x = 22.5 4/6 = 6/x 4x = 36 x = 9 4/7 = 5/x 4x = 35 x = 8.75

5/2 * 9 is just as easy as 5/4 * 7 but neither are as easy as the second.
