Yeah. It's really sad. A couple years ago I got turned on to the idea that the whole rap culture is generating these doods and throwing them away. An aspect of voyuerism. Not to sound like a jerk, but Kodak is not educated. He uses a couple phrases word for word in different songs.

He's a product of his environment. His art reflects it, and it's a tragedy that we benefit from his loss.

Yeah. The new dudes should definitely go the Chief Keef route of just moving out of the hood as soon as they can once they start getting traction from the rap game.

I'm also spending a lot of time listening every Quik record because he is one of maybe 4 90s rappers that never fell off. Seriously, the guy is so goddamn consistent. Here are two amazing songs 16 years apart:

Didn't hurt that Chicago all but banned him, either. Keef is actually a really great example of the whole "rap tourism" thing. On probation, and PitchFork takes him to the gun range. The one lyrics website has him read his poo poo, and publically show that Keef is possibly illiterate. That PitchFork scenario almost hosed up his life and he's lucky that his people were able to fix it, but what for? So PF could have some more views and poo poo. Even more screwed up considering PF is in Chicago and they can see that violence. Ugh, I'm getting worked up thinking about this. Only 5 more days til Gucci!

Most people on the north side don't actually see that violence ever. We just hear it on the news.

Yeah the Pitchfork gun range scenario could've easily turned Keef into the same situation Kodak Black/Bobby Schmurda are in. At least he's living in a mansion with his daughter and getting fat.

I was going to ask if Danny Brown had been doing anything recently. Other than that weird track a while back, haven't seen anything from him, even features.

I've never used Tidal, so I'll speak for Spotify I suppose. They have a lot of Playlists, and some of 'em get updated pretty often. The user-created ones get updated the most and you can find quite a bit of "random rear end songs" on there. Spotify also has the "Discover Weekly" playlist which is randomly picked songs based on your taste (I guess?). Here is mine for example.

Under "Browse", you can go over to "Discover" and find new poo poo that Spotify recommends that you might've missed. Here is my "Discover" tab for example. Of course you'd have to set it up so it's not quite "random rear end songs" that'd turn on while you're listening to something, but whatever. There's also the Radio feature which I have never used at all so I don't know. I hope that kind of answered your question.
