Well, the paywall's up and I've finally decided to stop freeloading. I can tell you some things for absolute 100% certain. 1) sq42 will not be out in 2016 2) They have built a set for Mark hamill and a Derek called it before it was public knowledge. 3) Derek indicated that John Dadley was leaving CIG despite no online evidence. A fact that Mr Dadly himself inadvertently corroborated. 4) a lot of info is confirmed and discussed on TCE among high level pro game devs including guys from CIG. You will never ever gain access to this forum but a lot is discussed there and there is no one with any dev experience at all that can see this game coming out as promised. 5) the AI and the netcode are broken currently. As in completely. 6) yes they do have some nice procedural planets stuff. This is not what was published in the German magazine however. Those images are from modelled test world's. 7) internally people are extremely worried about sq42 for multiple reasons. There is not a working vertical slice yet. 8) The hours of mocap data that have been shot don't work in game yet. Not one minute. The script is truly terrible. Even die hard cultists will cringe whilst watching this stuff through their fingers. 9) lots more but you probably don't believe any of what I have highlighted above and most likely think I'm a bitter ex qa monkey or just a straight out bullshitter.
