Wow, so every Mercedes failed inspection after qualifying and they've been given a 5 minute stop/go penalty that must be taken under green. So of course as soon as they all come in a Ferrari bins it into the gravel and we get a full course yellow so they're all in the pits serving an extended penalty.

IMSA is ending PC as expected after next year, but it won't be replaced. Series going down to 3 classes. CTSCC will go to the SRO GT4 rules in GS. 2017 they will be eligible, 2018 they will be mandatory. I was getting excited about the AMG rumors a few weeks back, then sad to hear them shot down last week. Hopefully *somebody* stands up to provide non-works efforts for DPI next year. Mazda? Maybe. GM seems to be focused on doing the works deal more than a "come one, come all" thing.
