Quite a few shows happening this weekend. On Saturday there's a free CZW TV pilot taping if you're in the area. Card so far: David Star vs Peter Avalon CZW Tag team championship match: Nation of Intoxication vs Da Hit Squad (c) Scarlet & Graves vs Dub Boys Jonathan Gresham vs Shane Strickland. Then later in the evening is the iPPV for The Boss Is Back CZW World Championship: Joe Gacy vs Matt Tremont (c) CZW Tag Team Championship: Scarlet & Graves vs Da Hit Squad CZW Wired Championship: John Silver vs Lio Rush Tim Donst & Alex Colon vs Rickey Shane Page & Danny Havoc Shane Strickland vs Peter Avalon Beyond Wrestling will be doing a show during the Foo Fest festival in Providence, RI on Saturday also. It'll be a Greatest Rivals Round Robin tournament with Team Pazuzu. Chris Dickinson vs Jaka Angel Ortiz vs Mike Draztik Christ Dickinson vs. Angel Ortiz Jaka vs Mike Draztik Chris Dickinson vs Mike Draztik Jaka vs Angel Ortiz Dan Decon is also playing at this festival which is pretty rad.

Former Georgia indy promoter Ben Masters was there and has this to say: quote:Ok it's soap box time. I have been in the pro wrestling business for 30 years and I have paid many "dues" along the way. I made a reputation in this business as a fair pay off man and a man of integrity. I have worked for a few crooked promoters but honestly not many. I have been blessed to work with amazing money guys who respected me and the best business. Apparently the promoter said he presold 500 tickets and there were 70 people in attendance. The only people who got paid were Arn Anderson and Del Wilkes, who threatened to kick the promoter's rear end if they didn't get paid. They got cash from the "money man" after that. Everyone else got paid in bad checks or not at all. The legends' hotel rooms were all even canceled because the promoter's credit card was declined!

I have to give credit to highspots, they just refunded everyone for The Boss is Back due to the problems with the stream. The problems were pretty bad but credit to them for issuing blanket refunds instead of making you contact them for one.
