Listen here cum-slut, I bet you 5 million dollars that you don’t own a bird. But guess what? I own 7. And I can tell you right now that a bird would never just walk into something like a chocolate fountain. They’ll rarely walk directly into water.

But say that your idiotic theory is correct.

Say it did actually walk into it.

That animal still probably died.

Is that still funny to you? Do you still get your kicks out of knowing that that bird was probably terrified and opening its mouth to scream in that last panel?

And if you say yes then you seriously disgust me as a human being.

IIRC it was a post by some Internet rando who was OUTRAGED at a scene from some Adam Sandler film where a cockatiel (I think?) walks into a chocolate fountain and gets soaked/starts guzzling chocolate. The fact that it was clearly a CGI cockatiel in said scene did not, of course, diminish the OUTRAGE.

There's a scene in Starship Troopers where some kids were stomping on cockroaches as part of propaganda. There was some outrage but apparently the cockroaches were actually fake prop ones.

So I'm not sure what I'm really more surprised about, that people were outraged over cockroaches getting squashed or that there exists fake theatre cockroaches.

Honestly it's probably more that it's easier to make fakes than set up real roaches to work with the filming.

The cat was published by EA, it actually came in 3 parts for 20 bucks each and had to be assembled like a Mr. Potato Head.

The ones on screen are already dead and squashed, so it seems like it would have been pretty easy to catch some and squash them for a movie.

But I guess it's more surprising that people cared so much about some roaches.
