there's a lot of DOS-era games on steam that flat out don't work and they don't give a poo poo at any level. I switched to GOG for that stuff and haven't had a problem.

It's less than two hours played and within 2 weeks of purchase date.

To be fair I've requested like 6 refunds and they've all been approved pretty quickly but yeah any game more than 4 or 5 years old I just go to gog since they actually give a poo poo about their customers.

Mostly if I've purchased an Old Game from Steam, I have some sourceport in mind and only really need the files.

<2 hours played and <2 weeks of purchase, so it'll probably take the devs 15 days to comment on any of the questions about what is/isn't in the game

I just had a weird cutscene bug about 2 chapters into FFX-2 where it canceled all the dialogue. Like it would just not play the audio and skip the animation entirely, it was weird. Not a clue what was up. I'll get it on PS4 in a couple years.

The reasoning for that bugs existence was cool. Apparently a lot of games, instead of trying to generate random numbers because it's a pain to do well, just look at the system clock for the number to put into the RNG. This is what they did on the PS3 version of FFXHD, and when they ported it to PS4 they forgot to change the thing that said it was a PS4 clock instead of a PS3 clock so it just defaulted to 12:00AM 1/1/1900 and everybody got the exact same seed for every RNG outcome in the game, meaning no matter how many times you tried to beat a boss the outcome wouldn't change if your strategy was the same. Bizarre

This is pretty cool and I hope someone mods in the ability to enter custom RNG seeds or something.
