So each can effectively work as two "buttons" depending on the binding. For example, with ED I use one toggle pull down once for landing gear down, next pull down landing gear up. Push up on same toggle to turn lights on/off. You could set it up thru the dedicated software, but it works fine using ED's keybindings setup. Just SC doesn't let you do that. I built this for DCS a few years back:  The three way switches function the same as three buttons. You also have to make sure the switches are in the right spot when you start the game, or pause and fix it. Bonus spaghetti image of the back:

Getting a private pilot's license took me about a year and cost a little over 10k. And I was a slow learner. For the time and effort these people are spending on buying imaginary spaceships and building custom input devices, they can learn to fly an actual flying machine. With a real control column, a real throttle, and real buttons and switches that do poo poo. But no, they keep giving money to Croberts. Why?!

One of my teenage cousin's friends had a mermaid phase a few years ago where she got one of those tails off ebay. She went to the beach and tried to swim with it and apparently almost drowned or something like that. That's all I know about mermaid development.
