Ugh, this has happened to me. I was out in the back yard, heard a BANG, and came in to find my casserole had exploded. This was almost five years ago and I still find little bits of glass under the stove sometimes.

Had this happen too. Thermal shock is a bitch. Don't pour cold water into a pyrex that has been in the oven for a while then put it back in the oven.

Had that happen making stuffed peppers over. It was at the end of the baking when my roommates and I hear the shatter. We opened the oven to find the casserole dish exploded but with the bottom all still intact and laying across the grate. All six peppers were still standing. We let them finish, pulled them out and had dinner while the glass cooled. No one ate glass that night!

Things night shift workers love:
1) professing their love of coffee
2) talking about how tired they are
3) posting their weird food concoctions because it's 4am and there's nothing else to do in Facebook once you've scrolled through your entire feed.

Poor night shift people though. That green oil spill of a cup of coffee is worse than what an inconsistent sleep schedule does to your body.

I see this kind of poo poo from those awful Facebook "recipe" pages that post nothing but overly sugary "no-bake" crap usually made of crushed up cornflakes, frosting from a tub, and peanut butter all the loving time.

Usually shared by early-20s and Occupation: Full Time Mom idiots with lots of the heart-eye emojis in the 50k comments and shares these recipes somehow gather.

I'm mad about food. :(

My wife had some leftover condensed milk so she decided to make caramel.
It was taking ages on the stove so she popped it in the microwave. where it overcooked really quickly and went a bit thick and sticky like toffee
She took it out of the bowl and put it in some baking paper to roll it up for slicing into bite sized pieces.

This is what it looked like after rolling up
