Yeah I'm fairly certain he's gonna underperform on the day of, largely because when has trump shown an ability to marshal directed efforts of volunteers? Granted it's not a perfect comparison but if you look at vaguely comparable races (unpopular Democrat vs. deranged Republican) the pattern's been, yeah, for the crazed candidate to underperform the polls, sometimes dramatically - Sharron Angle was leading Harry Reid in a lot of polls in 2010 and got owned on Election Day and Claire McCaskill ended up winning by a landslide against Todd Akin despite polls showing a toss-up.

To be fair... Since the sucker punch most of the violence has been targeted towards Trump supporters. I was really worried that anti-Trump protesters would attack the wrong dude and we would have a 'stand your ground' moment where someone was killed over this bullshit. So far that has not happened, and as the summer dies this becomes less and less likely.

Today's adventure is also just a church visit, not a rally so I'd be extremely surprised if there was any violence. A local reporter is saying it's been very peaceful so far. The service was supposed to start at 11EST.
