i've had SA on adblock ever since there were banner ads that constantly redirected you to offsite phishing attempts. I don't even remember if it was a mobile exclusive problem, i don't even remember how many years ago it was but i'm still pretty salty about it

none since adblock came out. you should see the weird poo poo google advertises at me because it has no idea what im into. it knows i'm a male, that's for sure, but otherwise it doesn't really have anything else to latch on onto, i cast a pretty dark privacy shadow. the rapey pickup methods were probably the most disturbing now that i think about it, it was pretty banal when it doesn't have any proof you're a pervy weirdo i am in fact a pervy weirdo tho

I am pretty sure we should just make laws against advertising OP. I feel like it was a fine experiment but honestly the privilege has been abused and we should probably go back to a world where every surface we own ISN'T plastered with some commandment to buy poo poo and then see if we like it for half a decade or so.
