This makes me thankful that the Internet was in its infancy when I was in high school. I had similar problems to these guys as far as social anxiety, but there weren't really communities online where I could easily find people to reinforce my own bad ideas. So, I had to grow and change. Communities like redpill and MGTOW bring out the worst in people and stunt their growth. Even at my very worst, I never saw other people as inanimate objects, though. That's really disturbing to me, that there are people who think they're entitled to sex and advocate rape as a means of getting it. I realize that attitude's common in places where women are property and sanitation and literacy are uncommon, but it's unnerving to hear it espoused by someone who has presumably grown up in the modern world.

Honestly it feels like every issue in here also extends to friends, and the fact that people don't really seem to have friends. Recently I saw a friend, and I was like, wow, I haven't seen you in forever! And she laughed because it had only been about two weeks. But we live in the same city, to me, it's weird not to see someone in like half a month if you're only like 10 minutes away. I mean, even for a short time. Back where are used to live, I was like two minutes away from my best friend. We rarely went for more than like three days without seeing each other. And not because we were teenagers or something, we just loved hanging out on the porch and whatever
