On the one hand, yeah, and perfect enemy of the good, etc.

On the other, it's objectively a terrible way to go about it and may hurt more than it helps. If you have to go on unemployment the benefits interruption would probably cost you more than the UI check. Plus it's patronizing and a nakedly lip-service pander. The latter part would be palatable if not for former bit, as well as the plan being crap-tier.

I'm honestly shocked he even offered anything at all, but I'm not going to thank Trump for the refreshing rain when he's just pissing all over the place as usual.

While I don't doubt that there are several closeted, self-hating gay Freepers, the constant gay talk is mostly just making sure everyone else knows how not-gay they are.

These people are the most insecure, toxically masculine turds ever and they constantly need to remind themselves and everyone else about it. Think of the daily pledge of allegiance to the flag they love so much. They have to constantly repeat this poo poo all the time otherwise someone might suspect them of being traitors. So...if you "educate" him, what exactly does that mean? Will you share with him your concerns in a way he will understand you better? What makes you feel that he isn't educated on your concerns today? It seems to me that Trump has done just as much (and likely quite a bit more), to understand and improve the lives of black Americans than Hillary has. Why do you give her the benefit of the doubt? What has she done or said that gives the impression she is educated about the concerns of blacks?

Freep does get into this occasionally, wondering why women and gays won't vote for the GOP when the alternative is Sharia law which is extremely misogynistic and homophobic.
