A couple years of cajolery has finally paid off I received this as a gift after badgering the previous owner about it for a while. Underneath a layer of coffee oils this thing is in basically new condition. Internals are nearly spotless, no scale except a bit on the heating element itself (nothing to worry about and easy to replace). Shower screen will be replaced and I had to pick up a 51mm tamper, but otherwise the mechanicals appear to be working and it's now clean and shiny. This specific model is what 007 uses when he wants a fancy pants coffee

Add 2 tblspoons to 10 oz of boiling water and stir. Remove pan from heat, cover, let sit for 4:20, pour through a wire filter into your cup. Simple.
