It is so closely sync'd that depending on where you're at you really had to try and look for it. Great show though, easily one of the best live sets I've seen.

Regarding the synchronization of it all, that's true; the whole production is brilliantly choreographed. The pre-taped video sometimes leads people to believe that Kristen Wiig or Paul Dano are actually in attendance, though.

ive made this post like 15 times on this forum at this point but Artpop is the best Gaga album and the best pop album of 2013. heck it'd be hard for me to choose between it and newer albums like Art Angels or Emotion. it's a fantastic record, every song is great, the production is unmatched, and it still sounds futuristic as heck

Perfect Illusion sounds fine. I didn't love Applause at first listen but this has grown on me just like it did. whoever said it seems really thin is totally right, it needs more verse and less chorus (and whoever compared it to a Eurovision song was 800% spot-on). at the same time, I think it could work better in the album than as a standalone single, cuz Artpop has plenty of "thin" songs that are great (Fashion!)

i'm allowing myself to get cautiously optimistic about this record on the strength of that song, at least! which is more than i was expecting from Gaga cuz I figured Artpop being a flop meant she would turn into a more boring direction, and it seems like she still might, but at least her voice is still great?

This is from last page but I wanted to point out that three of the tracks on Artpop were co-produced by one of my favorite Producers/DJs right now, Madeon. I just saw him perform his live show last week with Porter Robinson in San Francisco and it was absolutely incredible. They both play live instruments and sing while mixing their tracks but it felt a lot more like a band playing at times than a DJ group. I feel it is warranted posting about the show in here because both Madeon's and Porter's latest albums have been moving to a more "pop" sound, with some of Madeon's tracks being straight up pop. Would definitely recommend checking both of them out for anyone who likes some EDM-sound in their pop music.

It's not bad. At first I got annoyed with how it constantly felt like it was about to take off and sound 'bigger' but never did, but now I can accept it as it is. So obviously a rejected Rihanna track though, even before I knew that was actually the case.
