Yeah that's totally wrong. The "dish" is one of the roofs of the cylindrical storage buildings that blew their tops. You can pretty clearly see at least one of them take flight here -

Come on, you can clearly see the car from the first one drive past in the second one. It's the black car coming around the corner. It wouldn't be synchronizing them so much as playing them one after the other.
