i've been looking forward to playing two of my favorite maps from CoD4, Broadcast and Chinatown......only to find out that those two maps were part of the Variety DLC and not part of the other 10 maps they said they'd release in December. some dude even said they have no plans to include those maps. wahhh

I'm not surprised it has issues. A lot of things changed in sequels for a reason. But maybe they should have considered "just like you remembered" means within an hour of playing you start shouting "gently caress now I remember this poo poo!"as you disappear under a wave of martyrdom, triple frags and quick scopes.

I'm sure I would enjoy this more if the matchmaking worked with a party for me. MWR doesn't have this problem. My internet setup is configured properly.

I'm having an absolute blast spamming spider mines and shield charging down hallways. I love this future nonsense COD. I haven't really ran into any super laggy lobbies on PS4 yet. I do feel like the TTK is super low in this COD compared to the others though. Sometimes I get bursted down so fast I don't even see my screen shake. But it goes both ways because the akimbo mode of the Type-2 murders dudes so fast I end up shooting corpses half the time.

We actually beat Hans (on normal) It was a pretty fun experience all around and I think it convinced Boston to buy it. I'll likely pick it up since I played the poo poo out of the original Killing Floor on the PC.

There's no way to make up for lag with the slower gameplay. MWR was just a bonus as I never played the original, but it's fun to be idiots and hush or whatever so I hope they get stuff squared away on both titles. e: and since I'm a masochist I'm off in about 45 minutes and will be playing.

So I am new to call of duty multiplayer so looking for tips because every single matched I've played, I get killed before I even get the chance to fire a single shot. I have played shooters but for the life of me I cannot seem to land a single kill and die 20 times in a match

1.) Never play alone. Only play with goons. 2.) Never play alone. Only play with goons. 3.) CoD doesn't look it, but for all intents and purposes, it's an arena shooter; you need fast reactions, reflexes, situational awareness, and communication. 4.) Make sure to mess with the controller sensitivity and audio settings until you have something that matches your movements. Switching from speakers to headphones can make the difference. 5.) Mess with the Perks and guns until you have a set up that's either optimized for maps, or your play style. 6.) Practice. Or just play a lot. You may not be a natural, but I've seen more than one goon 'get gud' through lots of participation (or their hardware setup). 7.) Make sure you've done what you can to reduce input lag (TV/monitor/receiver/etc.), and aren't congesting your network with porn torrents or connecting your console via Wi-Fi. 8.) Never play alone. Only play with goons.

What Macy said but even once you get rolling and into some games with goons keep in mind you don't have to be a super killer to pull your weight. Capping points, shooting down air support and stuff like that can put you on top of the score board and is very much appreciated in every goon game I've been in.

It just takes practice. Blops 3 was my first modern CoD game and I was terrible for at least a week. Getting down the flow of the movement is paramount. Choose one gun and stick with it to start with. Getting used to a gun and how it feels, range limitations, etc is key since modern CoD is very much a game of reflexes.
