I like this one in comparison to the Bubble Bobble theme. It's also bubbly and light, and can be very high in places, but it's not nearly as irritating to the ears. The notes are a lot rounder as opposed to piercing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSASL4kx27w

Honestly one of the only things I remember about this game was the music, because it had really great themes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMfndWqYseE Also I know the NES had a lot of great music from games that were adaptations of other properties (movies and cartoons and the like) but I'm talking about original works.

Okay and now for my last game I want to talk to you about the greatest NES soundtrack of all time: Startropics. I tried to pick just one song, but it's honestly impossible. They're all amazing, from the standard walking around on islands music, to the frantic boss music, to the spooky music, to the haunting organ music, to the funny version of God Save the Queen, to the weird spaceship dungeon music which is super tense, to the kinda otherworldly ethereal music when you (spoilers) rescue the alien children.
