Everything on that page acts like it is released, which makes no sense because I know you're right. Plus, looks like the blu-ray one is the version that comes with the colorization version. Lame!

edit: and I agree with that sentiment, if only us US-Santees weren't stuck waiting until almost Feb to get a copy we can play.

vvv agree with that sentiment as well

Not quite; there are fewer regions than DVDs, and its generally easier to find a different region BR player. But there are still 3 different regions of discs.

2 is easier to enjoy when you're younger because it's flashier and IN THE FUTURE and all that

3 is the one you grow into and acknowledge the strengths of more and more

Yeah as I kid I really liked II and thought III was okay but a little off. Now I think III is fantastic while II feels like the "worst" of the lot (they're all good).

The first is still the best though, just an absolute classic.

Of course when it comes to Doctor Who, 2 is correctly considered one of the best!

I remember thinking the opposite when I saw them in the theaters.

Maybe it's because the Internet seems to adore II, but I really thought the general consensus on III was that most found it to be an unsatisfactory and flawed end to the trilogy.

I think it's fantastic. It was always my favorite, even as a kid.

Well, I guess I've got the weekly episode to keep me company because to be honest I've already forgotten most of the experience of seeing it in the theater, story wise Drugs are bad, kids . That and a local library that stays stocked with classic Who (currently have End Of the World checked out, 2x the Troughton!).

Also, re-listening to the Locum Doctors trilogy and it's better than I thought it was on the first listen through, though I've still got to finish re-listening to the 5th doctor end, got distracted on a Master trilogy relisten as it was already loaded on my phone.

What's sad is when you're pretty much caught up on Big Finish new releases, that's how you know you need a new hobby.

Doctor Who is still younger than William Hartnell was when he first played the Doctor.

And it's been said before, but Peter Capaldi and William Hartnell were both the same age when they first appeared as the Doctor :stare:
