At first I tought that we at least had 6 more months of cig freestyle, because the sale has been a success. Then I remembered that the next Dr. Smart blog post will force them to show their financial and that it will be the end. I can't wait. It's a pity that chris robberts and Dr. Smart share the same phobia of deadline.

Jesus christ they're gonna hit $140m. What is wrong with these people, they may seriously just be pouring all their disposable income in. Do we have any idea what's holding up 2.6 at this stage? If they can get arena commander to work, how can the netcode be struggling with 4v4 fps matches?

Arena commander is probably running on branched code. The code in the PU has been ruined to create things like the vast play areas and localised physics grids, but arena commander is incapable of these things. Now they're trying to do 4v4 FPS matches branched off the PU which means getting over all those problems. If they were to merge the PU codebase into arena commander they'd probably have exactly the same problems.
