Yeah I don't know that a design philosophy that involves heavy emphasis on FMV and cinematics necessarily translates to lightning striking

Wing commander was a success that helped put Origin system on the map beside the Ultima series. This one can be attributed in major part to Crobberts.

The backers ate the Gamescon planet promise and Starmarine standalone (and soon to be left to rot like AC) for a fruitfull November/December season and like a toystore making 80% of its yearly income in those two months, we are good for another years of ships concepts, missed deadlines and PU slow growth untill CIG either

A) Release SQ42.
B) Allow ships to be purcheasable in the PU with PU money.
C) Do something illegal and be investigated.
D) Publish another demo reel of upcoming features to prime the hype pump for another year (it worked 4 time already, why stop ?).
