I love Platinum to death, but after playing some of the newer games where everything in battle happens so much more smoothly and quickly, it's just painful.

IMO, X & Y is better at being what B&W tried to be. A mix of neat new Pokemon and familiar standbys, in a moderately interesting world and...

Okay, it's mostly because you can lose hours to playing dress-up and petting your Pokemon. :3:
