Maybe a little chubby.

I like to think the cat trained the dog in the ways of being a dick, something cats have mastery over. "Time for you to leave. No, seriously, run."

I don't have a picture but I wanted to share a story! Today I met a lady cockatoo with a bright yellow-orange crest, and she was very sweet and very appreciative of head scratches. God forbid you stopped scritching her, though. She'd fluff up, shake her head like SHAKESHAKESHAKE, and then whistle at you until you came back to give more scratches. It was pretty darn cute.

Pigeons are actually quite lovely and sociable birbs and if you spend any time watching them you might notice that a lot of them have really cool patterns in their feathers. Also in Boston and probably other cities too they will land on you if you have food and eat right out of your hands. They're also much cleaner than people think. And really soft.

Pigeons were one of the first domesticated birds, it's just that people kept letting them loose in the wild so urban areas quickly get a sizable feral population. We've spent at least the last 5000 years breeding and training pigeons to fulfill various purposes, from delivering messages (homing) to being food (squab) to just looking pretty (fancy pigeon breeds). Be nice to pigeons.

I've worked with pigeons in a behavior lab. They have ridiculously good vision and are fast learners. They may not talk like parrots but there's fun stuff you can teach them, like ping pong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGazyH6fQQ4
