So previously, I mentioned that my local indy was getting ACH and Beer City Bruiser. Now, this company does cross country tours but since they've started doing it, they always stop here, but sometimes Western Canada gets people we don't, as does Manitoba, as Winnipeg is the promotion's home more or less, and they have a pretty active indy scene there. Calagary and Edmonton has a pretty active indy scene as well. A while back, they announced Teddy Hart would be doing the Calgary and Edmonton dates, and I breathed a sigh of relief because while Teddy sort of amuses me, I think he's kind of so-so in the ring, and I really don't want to hear him cut a rambling promo. Well, that went up in smoke because ACH is AAW talent now, and the date in Thunder Bay (where I live) in January coincided with an AAW date. CWE, being professional about it, understood that ACH's obligation is to AAW first. His replacement, unfortunately, is Teddy Hart. I sorta still wanna go because this company puts on good shows, but I am a little reticent now that Teddy's involved (especially given his propensity for no-showing might gently caress the company over). But talk about trading down.

I don't wanna get punched in the face. I do plan on heckling the gently caress out of him, though. Don't care if he's working face or heel.

Especially if there might not be a 2017 version.

Barring a last minute change, Chris Hero is heading back to WWE, confirmed by a company source according to our Dave Meltzer.

Meltzer didn't add whether he was heading to NXT or the main roster.

On the Saturday night edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer answered a reader question about Hero's lack of bookings for 2017 to which Meltzer said he had some suspicions, adding that he heard about Evolve Wrestling perhaps having some plans for him in the future.

The soon-to-be 37-year-old (born Chris Spradlin) has been in WWE developmental before as Kassius Ohno, spending 2012-13 in Florida Championship Wrestling which became NXT. He was released in November 2013.

Hero has been active on the indies every since, putting on great matches worldwide against a multitude of opponents, including working three shows this weekend for Evolve and Beyond Wrestling.

This would be the latest big indy name WWE has signed recently, a group that included Roderick Strong, Tommy End, Big Damo and others.

I dunno, a wrestler that can't take heckling? Even Teddy seems beyond that. OTOH, he's quite possibly a rapist, so...

Something else to consider is that they have tons of TV time to fill and guys are constantly getting injured, so having new, talented guys ready to be circulated into the main rosters is a smart move.
