Speaking of tuxedo cats everyone meet my new cat, Kylo Ren (per his collar). He loiters around my place constantly seemingly 24/7. I'm still not sure whose cat it is but I have a rough idea. He has a bell on his collar now so I know when he's around. Probably one of the most chill cats I've met. Let's me pick him up no problem (kind of hope this doesn't lead to someone stealing him or something) per the local Facebook group a lot of people like to take in outdoor cats thinking they're strays for some god drat reason and I think sometimes even taking them to the shelter. I always tell them to put them drat thing back outside its just using you for food and pettes.     I'm honestly tempted to text the number on the collar "hi your cat is really chill and totes adorbs when he plays with my dog thanks"

So recently the city I live in had a police dog die in the line of duty. Last week they did a whole funeral processional for him and everything. It was pretty awesome. Today I found out my co-worker doesn't think that sort of things should be done for dogs. Today I found out I have one less friend at work.

I'm pretty sure whoever that rear end in a top hat is at your work who isn't down with Dog Funeral is probably just mad that their little Pippers the satanic gerbil didn't get a 21-gun on their way out.

We had a manhunt for a guy who killed his wife in our town a few weeks ago. He also stabbed a police dog. The police dog has since recovered fully, is back on duty, generated lots of donations to our local Humane Society, AND was the first non human named Grand Marshall of our town's annual Christmas Parade. good dogge.

i live in minnesota. a couple years ago we passed a law that made it super illegal to hurt a police dog. like it increased the penalties and stuff, you can go to jail for a couple years if you do it. a "wounded warrior" was on hand for the governor signing it   even if you don't like the police, don't hurt a police dog. a police dog is just trying to be a good dog
