I used to spend some time as a candy kid but got out of the scene quite some time ago. I remember when Nightcore started and it was precisely what I would do when I would ruin my friends records (they would never let me touch their records again) but recently I've noticed that my anthems have disappeared from Happy Hardcore channels and Nightcore has become its own wonderful genre that is basically everything I want (especially since I don't have to deal with gabber poo poo). It seems like this is where the new Bonkers is. I'm going to be listening to a lot more music going forward, so who is the Hixxy of today?

The Danger album is so epic. I love it all. As a whole the album sounds way more polished and modern than what he has released before. I quite often thought the EPs sounded like they wouldn't be out of place on a Sega Mega Drive game with some of the melodies that were present whereas the album just sounds... larger? Really cinematic. Except 11:50 which is total, total trash because of the ridiculous overuse of autotune.
