may contain peanuts posted:I heard Sheik's bad now Sheik used to have a 50/50 kill setup off a throw that made her very strong but that was nerfed in a patch so she's a bit more honest now, but struggles to secure kills. She's still extremely safe and combo-heavy, but players like Hawaii's VoiD have been very innovative in finding other reliable kill setups, like one involving her underused downsmash. When Sheik jumps her needle projectile angles like Ibuki's and when she gets someone offstage above the ledge she can confirm needles to bouncing fish- a move where she leaps forward in an arc with a powerful kick- to confirm kills. She's still a Top 8 character in tournaments.

Yeah, I personally play Tekken/VF/DoA on pad since I'm so used to doing WR moves on the drat thing and don't wanna learn stick which I use for SF etc etc. Just noted it since 'Tekken movement needs a stick' is so commonly thrown about.

Does anyone here know anything about converters? I have a homemade hitbox with a cheap-end PS3/PC board in it, and I'm curious what options exist to get one working with a 360 (what I have currently for playing Soul Calibur) or PS4 (what I'll likely end up with if they ever make another Soul Calibur). Not excited about my original plan of ripping apart 360 controllers and soldering connections.
