Yes, friends, it is that time again. We've come to the end of another year, and that means it's time to recognize the best--and the worst--of professional wrestling for the year 2016. In case there's any confusion, this thread covers the calendar year; that means our voting period is January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2016. Please, please, please,  DO NOT POST YOUR BALLOT IN THIS THREAD All awards have the option to give a first, second, and third place vote. You do not have to give all three, but the option is there if you want to. Five points will be awarded for a first place vote; three for a second, and two for a third. Additionally, since this has been an issue in the past, I'm going to come right out and say it: NXT and WWE are the same company. A vote for NXT is the same as a vote for WWE. So if your ballot for Best Promotion goes: 1. NXT 2. WWE 3. ROH Then five points will be awarded to WWE, two will be awarded to ROH, and I will make a mental note that you don't follow directions well. The bottom line is this: NXT is not a company. It's a show. There's a weekly show called NXT, and they've had a few major shows as well. You can feel absolutely free to vote for NXT for best weekly show, or for any of the NXT specials for best major show. That's fine. But don't go voting for NXT as best promotion expecting that to be counted as anything other than a vote for WWE. Usually "shittiest thing/most disgusting" is a pretty easy category for me and if these were the observer awards I'd definitely be voting for the Kimbo/Dada fight. If I'm sticking to pro wrestling all I can think of is the Orton/Brock debacle but I know there's something out there worse than that. Help!

Here are my takes to consider: Vader deserves a vote for best twitter. He posted a dick pic and got himself booked against Ospreay. Bob Backlund deserves a vote for best non-wrestler. He made me care about Darren Young for 3 weeks. Lucha Underground was all over my ballot last year and only made my ballot this year through Sexy Star in the Most Overpushed category Please find a way to include Rusev on your ballot. Wrestling needs better commentators.
