As for UBs you get 4 copies of some of them as part of the story so nobody's gonna miss their lowest stat lovely nature pheromosa

Edit: Wait when pokebank opens can we transfer the old "50%" zygarde and get a complete one with only 50 cores? Because I'm never collecting 100
You can breed some castforms now, GTS them for Zygarde and convert whatever isn't already an amalgamation of 100 cells into the spare cells you need to make your own 100 cell Zygarde.

Like, I collected the 100 cells in my copy of Sun, and then did the GTS thing to get a second 100 cell one to get a Dog form one.

Just make sure you track down the 5 or 6 cores that act as move tutors for Zygarde.

I'm pretty sure we can.

Also, I'm pretty sure 10% Zygarde is the better form since it rocks 115 speed, and its attack stat never actually increases.

We're all going to experience changes in our life but only the best of us will qualify for front row seats.

I've gotten so many Alolan Vulpix by means of wonder trade that I thought it was time to represent Moon some more and start handing out some exquisite Sandshrews.
Right now I'm at the crossroads in the breeding process: Adamant nature or Jolly?

It comes with Slush Rush and the idea is you give it Swords Dance, if that matters in the choice. Gotta go fast(er) or gotta hit harder?

I went jolly with a Life Orb. Even in hail, with perfect speed IV and speed EVs, it isn't fast enough.

Another way to get a few Battle Points will be to take part in the Tournament that just got announced: http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Alola_Friendly_Wi-Fi_competition_announced

Just register for the tournament and play at least 3 battles, doesn't matter whether you win or lose, you get 50 BP, enough for 3 of the power items.

I just completed my Alola Dex today, gotta decide what to do next. Should start with the Battle Tree probably.

So, in order to do the Battle Tree effectively, you have to breed some good pokemon. If you want to do that, you need a destiny knot. If you want one of those, you need to get good at Battle Royals. So, any Battle Royal tips?

Ramming Tapu Koko's face into Singles Battles will get you enough BP to get started. Even non-EV trained it can do work.
Just go to Resolution Cave and get the life orb.

Story wise, yes. In terms of Beast Balls, no. They still have a 0.1x capture rate on them.

I'm just looking to get into breeding now that I finished the Elite Four and I'm wondering if it's too crass to ask around for a perfect IV Ditto to breed with. Wasn't sure if they'd be abundant by now or if that's still hard to come by. If anyone could help I would love you for it.

Check the trading thread, dittos still fall off trucks pretty frequently around there.

I got a level 100 six IV shiny jolly ditto through GTS yesterday (so obviously hacked), but when I judge it all the stats say Hyper Trained! What is the deal here? I know hyper training only counts in battle and that for the purpose of breeding or hidden power the original stats are used, so is this ditto still good for breeding?

I got this for a Ratatta on GTS.

I don't think you should use it if there's no indication of what its original stats were.

Breed something with it and see how the stats turn out. If it's a lot of 31s then it's probably someone messing with people, but there's a good chance it's all 0s or something.

Yeah, but with a 45 catch rate they're not particularly hard to catch. The Tapus, Necrozma and Beldum are the only really annoying ones.

Guess who just caught a shiny Trumbeak? It's me! I know which Pokemon is making the team once I start a new playthrough after Bank updates.

She's pretty good. Fast, high special attack, can poison anything, and she's pretty.

Easiest way to get a female is to chain for one. Find a Salandit weaken it as much as you can without fainting it, use a Adrenalin Orb, and kill the reinforcements until a female shows up. You can speed this up even more if you have a male Pokemon with the ability Cute Charm in your lead slot- Cute Charm makes Pokemon of the opposite gender more common. Easiest one to get is probably Sylveon.

I didn't use Salazzle but if you want one, I recommend attracting a female Salandit with a male Cute Charm Slyveon.

For anyone else struggling, Cute Charm makes the opposite gender to your Cute Charmer show up 2/3rds of the time. Feed Eevee somes beans and teach it a Fairy move, boom.

Okay next question, let's say I wanna evolve a pokemon that automatically learns a new move when it evolves, like Charjabug or PunchyMcCrabsCrabrawler. If I level Charjabug to 31 in the proper place and it evolves, will it learn both Thunderbolt (the evolution move) and Bug Buzz (Vikivolt learns it at lv31)???

No. It'll only learn Thunderbolt in that case. Unless they patched a fix into that, I haven't checked.
