Haha gently caress off. Kubo should have won that. Not that I even saw any of the others.

I only saw Zootopia and Moana. They're pretty much even in my mind so this is cool I guess.

Hollywood is personified in Kirk Douglas, and is very concerned that when he goes they go too.

I tuned in about 20 minutes after the start, are they doing in memoriam reels for a bunch of different people or are they really singling out Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds?

# ? Jan 9, 2017 03:30 |

^ they don't usually do in memoriams here but that was too deep and recent to ignore i actually saw the hbo thing on carrie and debbie that just premiered yeah

Yeah Moana is a lot of fun, but Zootopia is also top notch. It's hard to rate them against each other since Moana was more recent for me, and I had lower expectations for Zootopia so it was much more surprising.

Man losing Carrie Fisher sucks for a variety of reasons but I feel Debbie Reynolds even more. Singin' In The Rain is like one of my favorite movies period.

Debbie Reynolds is like, Old Hollywood personified, to the point where she spent much of her later years collecting memorabilia from classic hollywood films. And it would be really weird to celebrate her without talking about Carrie.
