The mod makes me shrug, cause it's just kinda standard furry affair, but that comic is legit bad. Odd choice of weaponry. Like if some dude walked around with a club made from some other guy's arm and hand.

It's not a mod, but that's only because the game itself is (thankfully) unmoddable and very much fits this thread: The weaboos are leaking. TLDR slash background, Elite: Dangerous is a game about flying and shooting spaceships. You start out in a little scout ship and a handful of cash, and you shoot other spaceships, do missions, and shoot other spaceships while doing missions in order to get yourself more money to buy a bigger, more powerful ship to shoot bigger ships and do more lucrative missions in. Your interactions with other players are pretty much limited to shooting at them, shooting things with them, ramming the poo poo out of them, and ignoring them. A few months ago, on a dustball in the rear end end of nowhere, ancient alien ruins were discovered. You could land at the ruins in an SRV (a space buggy), gather ancient artifacts, and do simple puzzles involving said artifacts and remnants of still-functioning technology to retrieve samples of alien datafiles. Some of these datafiles have been partially translated, giving us glimpses into the Guardians' (as we call them) civilization. We know they had a caste-based society where each caste was extremely specialized to contribute to their particular niche in their civilization. We know that they were technologically the masters of cybernetics and long-range communication, like drone control. We know they had extremely sharp claws or forearm attachments they used to hunt and chop up their food into fine sections in order to accommodate for their relatively small mouths, and.. that's about it. The incredibly sad example of the internet's corrosive effects upon the human psyche fit these facts together and somehow ended up at 'pink and green fat-titted tiny-mouthed cannibalistic anime elfwaifus'. There's art that looks to be drawn with colored pencils by a sexually repressed thirteen-year-old. There's several pages of 'facts' upon the Guardians' biology and society, up to and including their lovingly detailed preferred mating habits. He makes a loving point of about how their females must have been gentle and submissive with enormous bazongas - specialized to nurture children, you see. There's currently 193 pages of discussion on his 'theories'. Based on a brief browse through the thread, about a quarter of the posts involved are other incredibly, terrifyingly sad nerds drooling after this paradise of anime waifus as far as the eye can see. The next quarter are people going 'what in the actual gently caress are you cutting your crack with, nitroglycerine?'. The third quarter of posts is the OP adulating in the praise of the first demographic, and the rest are him being all 'well thanks for the bump anyways' at the second in-between fervently defending his fanwankery. It's still not as bad as Star Citizen and the one dude advocating in-game rape (I wish I was making this poo poo up) but comes drat close.
