Someone wondered if her and Gary Oldman where even still in the game, she is an active Twitter user that post often. I'm not say to harass her or troll her, I'm saying if someone is interested in weather she is still working on it they could politely ask how her involvement with it is going.

Some of you guys have got quite scared over being called doxxers or something due to some trolling from others around here.

Asking questions on Twitter is partly why it is there and why people use it. (Harassment is a different thing but can be done on Twitter for sure. Don't Harass.)

Why is that a road to crazy town when in all likely hood she was well paid out of backers money, by Chris Roberts, Director of the extraordinary, to be in it. And while it's none of her fault about the mismanagement that is Chris Roberts, she may or may not be happy to answer about her former or ongoing involvement and Twitter is a perfect place to ask.

Most like, I'd say we are all guessing it was a poo poo experience for her and Gary and they want nothing more to do with it and would just ignore the question/Tweet and move on, but if someone does want to know, that a perfect fine way to do so.

As you say, it's a stupid non-game(but virtual movie) scam and you know what, she has profited out of it (for her services) thought no fault of her own but she maybe happy to talk about it, after all she was in a promotional video for it a few years ago helping to hype a possible 2016 release.

Let me ask you this: Do you think Gillian Anderson is going to answer that question in a meaningful way? Or is she going to say "Oh yep! Had a blast, loved to work on the project!" and we're gonna spend 50 pages doing insane autistic analysis of her word choice and what time she tweeted back and whether or not she's ovulating?

Well yeah, some people around here would for sure, even possibly you, I mean you just then already pondered whether on not she's ovulating with out here even being asked the question.

If the questions was "Hi Gillian, I'm really interested in Star Citizen, Wondering if you have complete all you work or if you have more to shoot"

She could the reply with either "Oh yep! Had a blast, loved to work on the project, all my parts are done, looking forward to its release" or maybe something like "It's great fun being part of something so ground breaking, looking forward to some more shoots I have coming up, c u in the verse!"

She may also respond with "Chris Roberts and his Sucubbus are scary, anyone who knows about that game is scary, gently caress OFF!"

Then we could follow up with "Are you on your period, we need to know why we debate your response"

On the Discord one night Freddie Prinze Jr was doing a live stream and taking questions. We convinced a nice goon to ask if he'd work with Chris Roberts again, and he said he'd be glad to. He wasn't looking for anything or out to get a job that I know of, so I'm taking his answer as honest.

Chris Roberts may spend inordinate amounts of time and money doing silly motion capture, but at least one professional he's worked with in the past appears to believe he did a good job, had fun, and would be glad to work with him again.

Chris may be poor at handling programmers, artists, and stuff that involves management, but I'll give him credit that when he's in his element (movie making?) he doesn't make the actors feel out of place. Unless things changed from the days of the Wing Commander movie. So there you have it, Chris Roberts isn't all bad at everything he touches. :)

See what I said about the other actor who already was asked. Chances are it was fun, if awkward and strange because of the weird contraptions she had to wear, and the balls everywhere. Got to have balls in there if you want to talk periods and ovulation.

But really, I'd say her experience was "ok", just strange because she's not used to motion capture. Chris probably didn't need to get the real actors for that part, but his money and vanity demanded it. Chances are it was all useless and now he's redoing it all with lesser paid motion capture stunt performers, and using what actor voice acting he can, like how most companies tend to do this.

I'm sure there's stories, but I doubt this is the glaring horror that people want it to be. I think all the stories will range from "had fun!" to "it was ok" but nothing atrocious. :3:

Oh! Also might be good to remember that directing actors is where Chris has the most fun. The programming and detail and long management needs and how loooooong and boooooring it all is is not his cup of tea. :)

He's going to have more fun and be nicer to all the actors because that's the part of his job he really loves. And despite everything I bet he's pretty good at it. He might not be great, but I'm sure he's passable and fun and the people involved enjoy what they're doing under his direction.

While we're talking about ladies over 40, what is the deal with Sandi's hair extensions? I was going to say something like "Does she expect people to believe her hair grew six inches in two weeks?" but then I realized that she is surrounded by the most credulous buffoons this side of a flock of particularly dimwitted turkeys.

A. Or he could be one of the many actors that don't dish on former coworkers.

or

B. He could be Freddie Prinze Jr and hasn't made a movie in a decade and would be happy to work with anyone now that the Robot Chicken checks have stopped coming.

I was wrong, it's about that time a somethingawful poster boasted about plans to shoot up his neighbourhood because people were defacing his halloween pumpkins, and all the somethingawful posters told him he was crazy and made fun of his obviously crazy plans then banned him for making terroristic threats, then he went and actually did it.

What a black stain on our history.

If they are oversensitive about being obese, then you probably aren't going to convince them. However, if he does mention actually taking the initial plunge. (i.e., I should lose weight) Then I highly recommend working together and comparing food logs. Very motivating to talk calories with a friend when actually trying to eat under maintenance.

Anyone that is morbidly obese knows they're morbidly obese. It's not like mentioning it, or telling them to quit hammering quarter pounders, or telling them they're gonna fuckin die soon is really going to be some kind of revelation.

To be honest I think the best thing you could do would be to invite them to locations/on activities that will get them some exercise. And I don't mean "Hey lets go to the gym together fatty" or "hey, lets go hike 5 miles up the nearby mountain."

It's hard to think up good scenarios without knowing where you are or what's nearby, but if I were to try and do it where I live (Reno) I'd probably do something like meet for lunch somewhere healthy and then say "hey, let's walk over to this casino" or "hey, let's walk down to the river" or "hey, lets walk to the game store 5 blocks over." Another thing would be taking them to the shooting range and walking out to the 400-700 yard markers to put up targets. Or just going to a scenic location where you have to have to walk a bit to see the scene. Not a hike, per se, but someplace where it's not immediately visible from the parking lot. But again, those are just ideas off the top of my head based on where I live and what I like to do (gamble, play video games, shoot things, and look at things).

This serves two purposes:
1. It directly gets them some exercise.
2. As long as your chosen activity has some level of rigor to it (but not too much where they just decline) it may make them think "Jesus fuckin christ I can't even do this simple poo poo without nearly falling over I gotta make some changes."

e: and you can ramp up the difficulty of your friend time from there but if this person is really that sensitive you'll want to intersperse it with activities that aren't active or they'll figure it out and get pissed maybe?

Unless you're the aftermath animator tasked with cleaning it up, and eventually whispering to Chris that it's all unusable. But even then that news is probably good because that means more mocap sessions.
