The real fact is they're gonna run worse anyway. At least we can make up for some of the other games now with a cheap upgrade. If the Pro never existed, bloodborne would still run with stuttering, the last guardian would have frame pacing problems and you wouldn't be able to play Nioh in 60fps.

Its almost like Gamestop is a lovely retailer, even podunk electronics stores in Germany sell and stock Pros And yeah, the difference is that the Pro has a tiny blue/white pro patch on the packaging

Do Gamestops have discretion about what their specific location stocks? Maybe certain locations (some rural neighborhoods maybe?) might avoid stocking certain products that might be seen as pointless, like if no one in the area has a TV other than a Walmart 720p set.

I don't mean that in a jerky way, but Uncharted 2 is generally seen as the best one (UC3 was my favorite of the first three, but that's more for characterization stuff + the ridiculously over the top set pieces) so if you dislike it this much, it might be that it just won't ever be your thing and that's okay. Don't get me wrong. A part of me knew that the early entries wouldn't be that fun for me because they have all the negative stuff from these years when it came to cover shooters. UC2 has some good puzzles and voice acting is good (Nolan North is amazing). UC2 looks good for a 2009 PS3 game. I think I'll just slap easy instead of normal and breeze through the old ones until I beat UC3.

I'm not all that pissed about the Pro but if newer releases do suffer considerably in the next couple years it's a signal that next gen people should hold off on buying until the real version comes out.

I ended up getting a launch PS4 because I was still working at GameStop and Sony just gave one to every manager but I was thinking about it and had that not happened, I probably wouldn't be getting one til about now anyway. This isn't correct. You can't redownload P.T. but if you transfer an install from an existing system to another one, it'll still be playable with any account that downloaded the game originally.
