You get sick when food is warm enough to allow bacteria to grow and produce toxins that make you sick. If you make it hot enough, you kill the bacteria (though you have to do this before they make toxins - those don't break down). If you keep it cold enough, you prevent them from being active and making toxins.

Once I realized this I started eating way more stuff cold because I'm too lazy to cook half the time, and it turns out that yes, many cold foods are in fact great!

I ate some grilled chicken breast for lunch that I had left on the kitchen counter about 8 hours earlier.

It actually wasn't too sweet. It was coconut milk, with strawberry, banana, and some toasted almonds. And chia is good and looks like tadpoles.

I've got my dad's old SX-929 but I think there's something hosed up with the protection circuit. It will make sound for a few seconds, give a click, then no more sound. I'm not much of an AV guy so I'm not sure where to turn.
