"[...]but alas the lucky winner, Barbara Howard, decided she didn't want to move to Henderson, Nevada and went with the cash. The 2,200 square foot house was then stripped down and sold for parts."

:ms:

That's pretty lovely though. I always thought they could do a follow up on if the person that owned it sold it when they thought the Simpsons got bad or something.

Hey, look. Look, if- if you screw me on this, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine, you rat bastard!
A Netflix series about people who won highly promoted Hollywood prizes could be sort of fun as part pop-culture history lesson of why stuff was really popular and part human interest story about what eventually happened to the prizes. Interviews with the winners, people involved in the marketing campaign for the contests, people involved with the original productions, some commentary by pop culture geeks about the whole thing, etc.

You see stuff like this and this seems like you could fill a decent 22min with it.

I'm not surprised that a house has two living areas. I'm surprised The Simpsons (the cartoon family) have one because I never remember seeing it on the show.

Unless you're considering the rumpus room the second living area I'm not sure how you wouldn't have seen the family room. it's probably in the majority of the episodes, usually pointed towards the dining room and staircase

Wait how the gently caress did this happen and why? Why were the Simspons promoting Rick and Morty? And how have I never seen this before? :psyduck:

They have guest animators doing the couch gags sometimes, like the 80's cop intro linked ITT previously.
This one happened because the creators of both shows discovered they were huge fans of each other when the Rick & Morty guys asked Matt G if they would do commentary on one of the Rick & Morty DVDs.

From the few episodes I saw it was just a lot of characters being mean to each other for no reason, "supposed to be funny because it's a non-sequitur" gags, and grossout humor. Basically everything modern Simpsons does that I hate.

Modern Simpsons isn't so bad! It's just a few sight gag references that aren't funny and should have been left in the classic 'sodes! It's still good! It's still good!

It's just a little bad writing! It's still good! It's still good!

It's just a few forced guests no one wanted to see! It's still good! It's still good!

Comedy Central is a distressing paradox, because every single show on it is in a constant state of being the least funny show on the network and on the planet. How can multiple shows be the least funny? I don't know, but they are.

One of the extremely few shows that got better as seasons progressed, mostly owing to the first season of Drawn Together being not very good. They ended up making some great episodes in the 3rd season though.
