Hey, speaking of fluffy little dogs with mats, any advise on dealing with mats in progress? Beauty has just managed to get a giant knot balled up on one of her ears. I've been brushing her regularly and it wasn't there a few days ago. I soaked it with conditioning spray and have been trying to work the tangles out with my fingers, but she yelps and whines at me and then I feel bad. p.s. Zipper is adorable even all dirty. Poor baby. How anyone could do that to a dog is beyond me.

Meet Mason: He's a bit high energy.  He literally doesn't hold still unless he's cuddling something.  He's half Border Collie, Half Corgi.  He's okay with this thing I guess.

I met a very happy li'l pupper today at a local electronics store. I almost couldn't get out of the doorway, this guy was so happy to have a visitor. He got lots of scritches.

Mason's not my pup, but his story is one of an unplanned litter from a corgi mom and collie dad. He's still young, and is a very good (if high energy) dog, but him acting out mostly involves tearing around the house until he gets your or a cat's attention (he's very demanding when it comes to cuddling). Last time I saw him he was a bit stir crazy because he had just gotten neutured and was on a forced exercise break. But he's a total sweetheart and doesn't vent by barking constantly or chewing things up.
