Why is everyone so sure Goldberg will not only win but will squash KO? It seems like their stock in Brock is pretty low, Goldberg won't be around post-Mania and Kevin Owens has been strongly insinuating he's cut some kind of deal with HHH for weeks. Feels like there has to be shenanigans.

Having Goldberg have his worst performance on the PPV before Mania doesn't seem to be in line with what they're trying to do. Keeping KO strong for an undercard match on Mania probably isn't top on Vince's priority list. I wouldn't be surprised at all with Goldberg squashing KO.

Of course KO will never win clean; that would actually be dumber than putting the title on Goldberg. Either Goldberg wins clean so vs Lesnar has the extra pageantry of being a title match, or Lesnar interferes so vs Lesnar has the extra build of being a proper grudge match and Owens can get some easy heat bragging about being one of the few people to beat Goldberg even though he didn't really.
