imo if you're going to do this rule, it should be runners at first and second with one already away. That way you can still sac bunt the runners over if you really want to but you still need an actual hit to win.

Yeah this weird and completely counter to the rest of the game. If you've gotten this far just play regular baseball rules, it's basically like the playoffs no one wants a game to end like this.

On Canada day I watched the 19 inning game with some of my friends who don't usually watch baseball, and although many beers were involved I don't think I've ever seen any of them have more fun watching a game. When Goins came in to pitch and got the double play to extend the game we all went insane. This rule is going to steal away many of the crazy uniquely baseball moments and I don't think its worth it if the goal is to attract more fans who arbitrarily decide that 11 innings is the cut off point. I dunno.

It's just so bizarre for a single elimination game to be decided like that. The suspense is already there, people want a climactic finish that feels hard fought. Placing 2 runners on and seeing which team has the better bunter is a bad way to decide it.
