TPAB would be a much better album with 0 spoken word stuff and a few of the lamer tracks (you ain't gotta lie, the beggar-man-as-god one, etc) cut out. Most of the tracks are still at least pretty good, it's just so goddamned self-indulgent that it puts me off listening to any of it.
