As cats get older, they like more comfortable things. My fat rear end cats never used the beds I bought them until they broke the 8-10 age barrier. The younger one still likes boxes, but Bo sleeps on anything padded or comfortable looking, like my chair or the fuf sack or balled up on my blanket in a cold night. The bastard.
