According to this article about Singapore possibly not renewing Malaysia is definitely gone after 2018. Gonna be lots of room for new/classic races soon

Melbourne make a big do of it. I live near the track (you can actually see our building on the driver dash cams) and it's very contagious excitement. Everybody heads out to watch the jet flyovers and stuff.

Malaysia is a good track for F1 cars and one of the few new ones that actually showcases the cars and what they can do. It'll be good this year. It's not that great for bikes tho and killed Simoncelli so I have mixed feelings. Singapore can lick a toad.

This is what I'm most looking forward to tbh. Last few years they have been able to step from a gp2 car into a f1 car with no issues. This year all those weedy looking kids are going to burn out half way through.
