It's on the CW, so it could possibly go on for 3 more seasons: The Vampire Diaries did even when major characters left the show. At the very least it's going to get past season 4 to get that sweet syndication money.

As much as i like Rahul Kohli, i am not sure yet whether he has the acting chops for the role, especially not when you look at the betting list of potential actors for the role.

I started this the other night and I guess I picked a real good time to pick it up since it's coming back next month. That rules. I'm on ep 5 and I felt compelled to come post "bowls of spaghetti are my porn." I've been happy with every ep so far but I have to ask, do they stop namedropping IG/FB/what have you so much? I get it you're all on social media. I also spotted myself unloading a truck in the background, so that was a loving trip. Seattle indeed. e- I should have finished the episode! that line was important! Dang I like this show. Caedus fucked around with this message at 04:30 on Mar 11, 2017 |

There doesn't seem to be a thread for season 3 yet, so figured I'd drop this here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGyUIjxGw2s Looks like they're not going with a full on zombie apocalypse, which I'm thankful for

Except Z nation, I'm still enjoying that since it's campy enough to be entertaining.

It was cool to dip into that territory at the end of last season, but if anything I think the whole zombie supersoldiers plot is another way to keep the lid on the apocalypse. They don't want everyone zombified (because then they don't have an edge), and they presumably know how to be discreet and lethal. Also looks like next season is starting off immediately after the last episode, if the police costumes are any indication.

In real life: A) hospitals have whatever kind of blood you need and/or can get it from another hospital pretty dang fast unless there's a massive emergency B) someone is usually smart/empathic enough to figure out that if someone doesn't want to or can't give blood for reasons they'd obviously rather not talk about then it's none of your goddamn business no matter who you are In the show they got written off in a dramatic fashion and that's really for the best

It was clunky writing and both sides were kind of assholes. As usual we're just more sympathetic to Liz because she's the protagonist and we see the full scope of her emotions and problems. They should have just had them move to the east coast or something, because yeah, it was clearly just a bad way to write them out.

If my sister refused to donate blood and wouldn't say why, this is 1000% the first thought I'd have. Not that she's simply a sociopath now or whatever. It'd make sense of all her recent life decisions, too. "Liv was a type-A career woman with a perfect life and fiancé. Then there was some incident she refuses to talk about, she ended her engagement, totally imploded her career and social life, styles herself radically differently, and has wildly self-destructive mood swings and an extremely fatalist outlook." Gee, I wonder what kind of thing could happen in one night that explains this dramatic psychological shift. The reality is Zombie-ism as an AIDS metaphor, but her family is either totally oblivious or just idiotic for not considering this.

On one hand, they should've assumed Liv had a disease she didn't want to talk about. On the other hand, Liv wouldn't be too embarrassed to talk about disease she doesn't really have. Both things are bad, but the writers just wanted to write them off the show.

Yeah, its fine to say the family reacted badly. They did. Its also fine to criticize that Liv pushed them away and made no effort to try and make them understand. It was just really bad writing. And they seemed to know it because instead of trying to fix it or salvage it they just threw it out entirely and has spent every episode since acting like Liv never had a family and Major and Peyton didn't have relationships with them.

I'm guessing Liv didn't claim to have a disease because her mom is a doctor. She'd want to know who Liv was seeing, what treatment she was getting, and probably even want to know specific test results. She'd probably want to refer Liv to a better doctor, or even try to get her into experimental treatment trials. Liv not wanting to tell a medical lie to her noisy doctor mother is no more unbelievable than Ravi not notifying the CDC about a potentially catastrophic disease outbreak in Seattle. People have to be a bit dumb for this show to stay the kind of show it is.
