Born in late 70s small town western Canada, and woods porn was very much a thing up here. I had some friends leave their old woods porn scattered around the playground of an elementary school one night. Walked by the next morning to witness dozens of screaming and laughing little kids with fistfulls of penthouse pages running away as two or three teachers desperately tried to chase them all down. Apparently, it was so funny they did it again the next day.

I was a woods porn fairy once. My younger brother ratted on me to my mom once so before she got home from work I stashed em in a plastic bag and hid them under a pine tree behind the fence line. They were gone that night when I snuck out to retrieve them. The stash was three good condition Perfect 10 magazines that my cousin gave me. Disney quite often re-issue their films in wide release but they also had a habit of releasing special 3D versions, IMAX versions and even singalong versions to cinemas long after the initial run. Individual cinemas will also quite often show older films for one-off events, and some independent cinemas mostly run a selection of curated older films.

So what's the theory behind woods porn? Guys that are so ashamed that they're touching their dilz that they have to go out in the woods away from civilization and people so no one will know? I was reading an indie comic years ago where a guy was talking about his real-life childhood, and how he and his friends used to go down into the sewers to explore. At one point they found a huge cache of porn down there, and I thought it must be the same thing. Born in '88, never found wood porn. My cousin and I stumbled upon a literal chest full of 1970s Scandinavian* hardcore pornos once though, tons of magazines and super 8 reels. It was in the garden shed of the house my aunt's family had just moved in, that was a great find. Sadly the previous owner, an old man who still lived in the upper story of the house along with his wife, apparently got wind of us finding it and moved the goods away soon after  *dunno why it was Scandinavian, it's not like 1970s Germany was lacking in awkward porn flicks
