I got my tickets on the day, and I bought two (including two park-and-ride) comes out to roughly a single ticket in some places. Actually what is the Park-and-Ride supposed to be for? Is it per car? Because if so I have one going spare. I kind of thought it was for per person. I kind of panicked in the rush of shopping.

UGH. I want to listen to more but I also want to wait and listen to the whole thing when it get's released. Also the vinyl I ordered had the shipping date changed to the 28th, so yeah December of next year was a place holder. Now I just need to replace my broken turntable...

New song is pretty good. Spotify also has remixes of the first batch of songs now. I caught them live at the very end of the Plastic Beach tour and it was still one of the better shows I've ever been to. I'm really hoping they do another big tour for this album, I'd love to see them again.

Andromeda and Busted and Blue are the only songs I've heard so far that grabbed me immediately, but these songs have all grown on me quite a bit. It's not as good as Demon Days (so far) but that's kind of an unfair bar to hold up.

The thing about Plastic Beach is that after enough listens through I didn't dislike a single track on the album. Hell, I like Sweepstakes now. This album sounds a lot easier to enjoy on first approach though, so it'll be interesting to compare the two albums after a couple of months.

Sweepstakes isn't nearly as bad as Superfast Jellyfish. With the crunchy, crunchy carrots (Oh that's chicken), gotta have it super fast! It's me, I'm the one who didn't come around on Plastic Beach. So far, it's their least good album, even after The Fall.

I still think there are plenty of good songs on Plastic Beach, my favourites being Some Kind of Nature, Empire Ants, and the title track. What are good songs on the fall? Because every time one of the tracks comes up on Spotify it feels more like a skit or mixes together several totally different sounds in a way that's really unappealling E: ok I'm not alone. And a few songs on plastic beach were ok but it did feel... overproduced? The Fall was never actually meant to be sold as a regular album, I seem to remember it was originally given out free to members of the Gorillaz fan club until EMI forced them to monetise it. It gets judged rather hrshly because people assume it was a full-blown album and not Like, The Fall is better than a lot of actual studio albums, imo. Just not Gorillaz' own studio albums.

Eh, I'd say that a lot of the "standard"-sounding songs from The Fall are pretty good. It was when it started getting really experimental after the first few songs that I kind of soured on it.

It just occurred to me that Busted and Blue is the only track on the album without a vocal collaborator. It does seem that Damon's taken a backseat on vocals this time around in comparison to previous albums. I haven't heard B&B yet but my favourite track on each album has been a Damon heavy/solo one.

Sound check (gravity) still blasts my brain out of its skull and into the stratosphere as much as it first did when I was 11. But my fav songs altogether are the Del tracks on the first album and I really hope he comes back again someday for another one

Clint Eastwood was such a big success for both Gorillaz and Del. I think it would be a shame if they didn't team up to commemorate that success before Gorillaz is done.
