I guess I'm a couple of weeks late to the finale, but... I can't believe they just deus ex machina'd the ending like that, with Baidu going FORCE GOD on everyone and rescuing the rebels. And then have the FORCE GOD get shot out of the sky by a bunch of AT-AT walkers and finished off by a blaster shot to the face. What an utterly stupid way to end an otherwise excellent season.

AT-ATs did shoot him out of the sky but he didn't die from a blaster to the face. Thrawns shot hit the ground, the Bendu pulled an obi-wan and vanished.

I'm interested in seeing if Kallus is still in the show next season and, if so, what his role is, and what changes they make to his character design in getting rid of his ISB uniform. I hope he stays, it'd be interesting to see how someone like Kallus finds a way to fit in with the mainstream of Rebel command

He was the one who sized the farm, he was helping in the factory among other things I think he has had around 8 appearances. Anyway with Kallus now open traitor Lyst will probably be released.

A little imprisonment and torture is considered character building in the Empire. Thrawn probably figured Lyst could use that kind of break from the norm anyway even if it was just to keep Kallus from thinking his jig wasn't already up.
