Watching the second Formula V8 3.5 round from Silverstone and drat, this field is a pretty sad sight. The series has been practically dead since Renault pulled their backing at the end of 2015, and I'm not sure why they even bother at this point.

Horrendous accident in a BTCC F4 support race. The director switched to an in-car poo poo in time for the driver to slam in to a broken down car at unabated speed. Drivers still getting medical attention.

There's video of the F4 crash on Youtube and gently caress it's nasty. You literally don't see the slow car until about half a second before impact. Nothing he could've done to avoid it. Apparently he's got serious leg injuries and it took 2 hours to get him out the car.
