I'm having trouble finding the surreal comic with a vintage, innocent look to the artwork, but sometimes really awful things are done or said by the characters. I don't think any of the stories are connected. Halp!

Oh cripes. Sorry. Looks like it's made with felts. Very little dialogue. People hurt each other or their bodies are strangely deformed. The characters don't have pupils. Maybe it doesn't have a name, and it's just known by the artist's name?? That might not be true. They kind of look like the retro Fallout's characters.

For a while it sounded like Ideal Boy / Adarsh Balak / आदर्श बालक but they don't have empty eyes: https://imgur.com/a/b2JTU There's that other webcomic where they have empty eyes with a slight grey shade on them, maybe that's it? I don't remember what it's called but it's been posted in this thread very recently. E: Ahhh, of course! Carthag Tuek has a new favorite as of 06:30 on Apr 15, 2017 |

I got my physical copy of Deathbluge Volume 1: Prettier On The Outside (fancy edition) in the mail recently (after first learning about the comic here) and it's wonderful. Incidentally the elaborate fish drawing promised for the extra cash was so elaborate I didn't realise it was the drawing at all when I first opened it. Only realised once I angled the book and the light shone off the pen ink. It's one very detailed fat happy bass! (I don't have a digital camera worth anything more than a blurry mess so you're just going to have to imagine it)

twoday posted:Is this the original thing that "Christ, what an rear end in a top hat" comes from? Doubt it. Those two comics are from the artist who worked on an earlier webcomic (forgot the name, the one with the guy comes into the ER with an owl problem) that died a couple years ago. "Christ what an rear end in a top hat" as a punchiline is at least a decade older. Originated as a one size fits all caption for New Yorker cartoons, which is true btw. "Christ, what an rear end in a top hat!"
